The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Snow quickly recovers to half guard.
Well, if Rodriguez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rodriguez moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Snow.
Snow is trying to get back to half guard.
Snow is working hard here to advance position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodriguez on the ground.
Rodriguez advances to full mount.

Snow tries to roll but Rodriguez sticks to his back.
Rodriguez lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Rodriguez is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Rodriguez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Rodriguez is working for a rear naked choke. Snow is not defending it well and Rodriguez has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Snow refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Snow's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
