The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Alvado misses.
Alvado has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) in the buildup to the fight.
Hawke connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Alvado momentarily.
Hawke takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Hawke lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hawke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hawke throws a body punch but Alvado moves out of range.

Alvado throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Alvado seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Alvado lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hawke has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hawke and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hawke. Alvado does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hawke lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Alvado chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hawke can pounce on him.

Hawke works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hawke gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hawke is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Alvado struggles to land a body shot inside as Hawke controls his hands.

Hawke tries to throw a body punch but Alvado avoids it by throwing Hawke back against the ropes.

Hawke pushes Alvado back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hawke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

As Hawke backs away, Alvado returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Alvado lands a really nice looking cross but Hawke seems unphased.
Alvado slips under a jab.
Alvado fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hawke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Alvado tries to land a front kick but Hawke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Alvado counters with a nice uppercut.
Hawke darts in trying to clinch
and Alvado counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hawke tries to clinch but Alvado moves out of range.

Alvado looks to throw the jab but Hawke is out of range.
Alvado throws the kick towards the body but Hawke avoids it.
Hawke scores with a hook to the body. Alvado takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hawke throws a shot from downtown. Alvado moves away and avoids it.
Hawke fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Alvado is out of range.

Alvado is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and Alvado counters with a crisp one two that drops Hawke! Alvado thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hawke to his feet! Hawke is in big trouble!

Hawke gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Alvado points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Hawke wakes up just in time to hear Alvado thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
