The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetcov misses with a looping left.
Maximus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kuznetcov throws a hook to the side of Maximus's head but Maximus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maximus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Maximus throws a body kick that misses.
Kuznetcov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kuznetcov with the counter takedown but Maximus avoids it easily.
Kuznetcov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Maximus fakes the leg kick and cracks Kuznetcov in the body.
Maximus slips a jab from Kuznetcov.
Kuznetcov throws an off balance right hand
and Maximus counters with a thumping low kick.
Maximus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kuznetcov's head backwards.
Maximus throws a good cross that connects.

Maximus throws a body kick that misses.
Maximus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kuznetcov.
Kuznetcov avoids the body shot from Maximus.
Kuznetcov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Maximus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kuznetcov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Maximus circles away.

Maximus sends Kuznetcov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Maximus is motioning to the referee to let Kuznetcov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kuznetcov is rocked!
Kuznetcov switches off momentarily and Maximus cracks him with a monster right hand! Kuznetcov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Maximus dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Maximus!
