Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Devlin Master (ranked 23384 p4p, 342 weight class) and Lotus Flower (ranked 6889 p4p, 306 weight class). Master's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ram Jam- Black Betty. Devlin Master had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Flower.
Flower appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Master connects with a nice looking jab.
Master throws a lazy uppercut
and Flower finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Master fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Master connects with a looping right hand.
Flower swings away with a body shot that misses
and Master counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Flower throws a body punch but Master moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Flower cracks Master with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Flower connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Master throws out a loose jab but Flower uses good head movement to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Flower! But no joy.

Flower tries to clinch there but Master circles away.

Flower throws a lazy right hand but Master sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A slapping leg kick lands for Flower.
Flower is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Master counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Flower bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Flower thuds his shin into the meat of Master's side.
Master jabs Flower right on the nose. Flower blinks but takes it well.
Master ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Flower moves away.
Master digs a good hook to Flower's body.

That was a close round but I would say that Devlin Master will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Master lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Flower works the jab nicely.
Master throws a hook but Flower avoids it easily.

Devlin Master seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flower keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Oh Master is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Flower drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Master right on the button. Master goes down! Flower follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Flower gets the win via TKO!
