Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Sullivan (ranked 3033 p4p, 356 weight class) and Zarko Zidane (ranked 2236 p4p, 277 weight class). Zidane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sharp Dressed Man. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zarko Zidane!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zidane.
Sullivan swings for the body but Zidane moves out of range.
Zidane moves away from the strike by Sullivan.
Sullivan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sullivan misses with a combination
so Zidane counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sullivan wants to get back to his feet but Zidane passes into half guard.
Zidane slips a nice elbow through Sullivan's hands, connecting with Sullivan's forehead.
Zidane is looking to take a break and control but Sullivan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zidane lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Zidane takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Zidane is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Zidane stops Sullivan from getting back to his feet.

Zidane is nestled in close to Sullivan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Zidane looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sullivan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Zidane is working for a kimura but Sullivan is defending it quite comfortably.
Oh Sullivan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zidane lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Sullivan quite badly. Sullivan pulls Zidane in close trying to recover. Zidane postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Sullivan on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Sullivan doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zarko Zidane!
