Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasara wants to clinch
and Diaz counters with a three punch combo that has Vasara backing up. Vasara nods at Diaz to acknowledge the strikes.
Vasara tries to clinch
enabling Diaz to counter with a crisp jab.
Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vasara tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in Vasara's guard.
Diaz is in close to Vasara's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Diaz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vasara with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Diaz lands a nice short elbow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diaz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

After winning the bout, Luiz Diaz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
