Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lavonde Tyrone (ranked 8660 p4p, 650 weight class) and Gordon Ramsey (ranked 8346 p4p, 644 weight class). Gordon Ramsey struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrone tries to clinch up but Ramsey circles away and keeps his distance.
Tyrone misses with a takedown attempt
and Ramsey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ramsey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ramsey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tyrone misses with a kick to the body.
The fighters circling - Ramsey throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tyrone has a takedown stuffed.
Lavonde Tyrone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramsey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ramsey scores with a jab to the head.
Ramsey misses with a low kick.

Tyrone shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ramsey napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tyrone wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ramsey, who protects the arm well.
Tyrone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ramsey is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tyrone asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Tyrone postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ramsey looks a forlorn figure.
Tyrone lands a couple of good shots and Ramsey has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramsey is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Tyrone working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Ramsey is doing well to defend. Tyrone seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Ramsey is forced to tap and this one is over!
