Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Vaughn (ranked 6296 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titan Godly (ranked 5863 p4p, 0 weight class). Titan Godly will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Godly changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vaughn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Vaughn is looking for a sweep.
Godly postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Vaughn looking for a sweep but Godly has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Godly tries to control but Vaughn wriggling away.
Godly misses with a head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Godly misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Godly thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Vaughn is trying desperately to improve position.

Godly trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Godly throws a strike there. Vaughn manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Godly seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vaughn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Godly not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Godly is just content to waste time from the top position. Vaughn takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Godly stands and throws Vaughn's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Godly stands up and beckons Vaughn to his feet.

Godly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Vaughn is not content to let Godly control the position.

Vaughn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Godly is keen to just control but Vaughn is a slippery customer.
Godly missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Godly is looking to take a break and control but Vaughn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vaughn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Godly's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Godly's back!

Godly rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Godly wants to hold on but Vaughn pushes him away.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Godly wants to work for an arm triangle but Vaughn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Godly wants to control but Vaughn is keeping him busy.

Godly stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Vaughn throws up his legs and catches Godly in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Godly tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Vaughn! That came out of nowhere!
