Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Maeda (ranked 5842 p4p, 504 weight class) and Test Three (ranked 2610 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Test Three!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Three avoids it really well and circles away.
Maeda shoots in for a double leg but Three sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Three tries to counter with a clinch but Maeda shakes him off and moves away.
Maeda doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Three counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keisuke Maeda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Three lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Three throws a series of punches but Maeda moves out of range.
Three fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Three fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Maeda on the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Three.
Three avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maeda wants to clinch.
Maeda throws a leg kick but Three sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Nice takedown defense from Three. No joy for Maeda on that attempt.
Maeda is looking to clinch but Three is avoiding it.
Three misses with a double jab.
Three loads up on a big right hand but Maeda slips the punch.
Maeda is looking to counter with a body kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Maeda or perhaps it was just good defense by Three, which made it look bad.
Three swings for the body but Maeda moves out of range.
Maeda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Three paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Three closes the distance and clinches.
Maeda wants to break the clinch but can't.
Three lands a shoulder strike.
Three working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Maeda has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Three avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Three scores with a shot to the side of Maeda's head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Three.
Maeda is breathing heavily.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Three creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Maeda is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Three pushes Maeda back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh Maeda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maeda blocks a punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Three.
The referee calls for Three to work.
Three lands a left hand.
Three pushes Maeda against the cage. Three is working some dirty boxing. Three pushes off with a quick right hook! Maeda goes down! Maeda tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Three moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
