Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sirimongkol Niyotrong (ranked 2047 p4p, 251 weight class) and Dave Brooksbank (ranked 8322 p4p, 676 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooksbank displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Niyotrong throws out the jab.
Brooksbank shoots in for a takedown but Niyotrong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brooksbank changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Niyotrong tries to avoid it but Brooksbank manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Niyotrong to the ground. Niyotrong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Niyotrong lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brooksbank tries to close the distance and clinch up but Niyotrong swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
