Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Melek Taus (ranked 22563 p4p, 148 weight class) and Dunder Mifflin (ranked 8770 p4p, 139 weight class). Taus comes to the ring accompanied by A Cry For Vengeance. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dunder Mifflin!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifflin misses with a looping right.
Mifflin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circling - Mifflin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mifflin throws out a loose jab but Taus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mifflin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Taus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mifflin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Taus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Taus digs a good body shot into Mifflin's ribs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Taus. That's going to slow Mifflin down.

We've been told by Taus's head coaches at The Wild Beasts Zoo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mifflin throws a looping overhand right but Taus ducks down to avoid it.

Taus looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

and Taus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Taus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mifflin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mifflin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Taus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mifflin.
Taus throws a quick counter kick to the body but Mifflin avoids it.
Taus defending well as Mifflin loads up on a big left hand.
Mifflin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Taus at a distance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taus walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mifflin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Mifflin has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
A clash of legs there as Mifflin blocks the low kick.

and Taus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mifflin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mifflin misses with a combination
and Taus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Taus is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Mifflin throws a big shot that misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Taus misses the target.
Mifflin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Taus. Taus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dunder Mifflin will probably get the nod.
That's time! Taus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mifflin throws a right and a left that Taus avoids nicely.
Mifflin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Taus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

As Mifflin tries to get set, Taus tries to push him back and clinch up but Mifflin manages to avoid the attempt.

and Taus makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mifflin really felt that one!
Taus lands with a kick to the ribs.
Taus feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mifflin's calf.
Taus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mifflin.
Mifflin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mifflin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taus.
Taus stuns Mifflin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Taus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Dunder Mifflin has been cut.
A jab from Mifflin misses.
Mifflin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Taus.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taus scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Mifflin beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Mifflin is breathing heavily.
Mifflin drops his guard momentarily, allowing Taus to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Mifflin! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Taus takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Melek Taus!
After winning the bout, Melek Taus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Dunder Mifflin was interviewed post fight and said 'Even though I have lost the fight I know the money I get means more to save up to buy my bankrupt company back from Sabre and to get a home again, Thanks again folks!'.
