The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Romo slams his shin into Suo's torso.
Suo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Suo tries to clinch up but Romo circles away and keeps his distance.

Romo lands a big uppercut and Suo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Suo looks OK. Romo waves Suo back to his feet!

It looks like Haruto Suo has been cut.
Suo doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Romo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Romo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Romo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Romo stuns Suo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Romo fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Suo square on the jaw! Damn, Suo is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
