The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilenius lands an overhand right.
Vilenius lands a slapping body shot.

Vilenius scores with the left hand. Giou knows he should have avoided that one.
Giou really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A punch lands to the side of Giou 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Giou is looking for a triangle but Vilenius pushes his legs off easily.

Giou has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vilenius can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Giou is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vilenius loads up on a big left hand. Giou felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Vilenius looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Giou can't hide his disappointment, as Vilenius celebrates the victory.
