Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pat Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fiyero Lermontov!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Lermontov counter with a right hand.
Lermontov misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely.
Williams fails with the takedown
and Lermontov counters with a nice uppercut.
Williams uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lermontov.
Williams misses with a straight left.
Williams wants to clinch but Lermontov slips to the side
and Lermontov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Williams darts in and clinches Lermontov up against the cage.
Lermontov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lermontov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Lermontov.
Williams moves to clinch but Lermontov breaks away
and Lermontov counters with a head kick that drops Williams to the mat! Williams scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Williams is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big right from Lermontov misses.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Williams wants to clinch
enabling Lermontov to counter with a crisp jab.
Horrible takedown attempt by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Lermontov, which made it look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lermontov lands a big right hand that sends Williams crashing to the mat! Lermontov stays standing though and waves Williams back to his feet!
Lermontov misses with a straight left.
Lermontov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pat Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lermontov lands a big right hand that sends Williams crashing to the mat! Lermontov stays standing though and waves Williams back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Lermontov counters with a crisp right that sends Williams to the canvas! Lermontov follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
