Szczęsny's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Immortal Technique-Obnoxious. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szczęsny fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lafitte manages to avoid it.
Szczęsny has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lafitte clinches with his opponent.
Szczęsny tries to circle away but Lafitte has him pinned against the ropes.
Lafitte misses with a punch on the inside.
Szczęsny throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
A right hand to the body from Szczęsny.
Szczęsny's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Szczęsny pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Szczęsny works the jab nicely.
Szczęsny throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lafitte gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Szczęsny fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lafitte has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lafitte takes one on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lafitte cracks a nice hook into Szczęsny's ribs.
Szczęsny checks a leg kick nicely.
Lafitte wants to clinch.

Lafitte drops his guard momentarily, allowing Szczęsny to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Lafitte! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Szczęsny takes it!
