Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hakuin Ekaku!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ekaku swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ekaku is trying hard to land a takedown here. Romero sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Romero connects with a body shot.
Ekaku thows a leg kick but Romero checks it
enabling Romero to counter with a crisp jab.
Romero scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ekaku wants to slow Romero down by chopping away at his legs.
Ekaku throws a hook but Romero avoids it easily.
Aquiles Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romero pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ekaku back to the cage. Romero follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
No luck for Ekaku with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Ekaku misses
and Romero counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ekaku gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Ekaku tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Romero is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Ekaku buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Ekaku!! Ekaku is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Romero throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aquiles Romero!
Post fight, Aquiles Romero took to the microphone: 'im calling out Kick Boxer! lets do this'.
The defeated Hakuin Ekaku had this to say: 'Im old as fuck but ima still fight these young bitches hahahaha!!'.
