Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cristobal Gibson (ranked 24731 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Teirlynck (ranked 5789 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cristobal Gibson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenneth Teirlynck!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gibson gets caught napping as Teirlynck dives in and scores a takedown. Gibson manages to retain guard.

Teirlynck sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gibson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gibson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Teirlynck walks away with a smile on his face. Gibson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Teirlynck is looking to break free of the clinch but Gibson has double underhooks.

Gibson jumps guard and drags Teirlynck to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Teirlynck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gibson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Teirlynck decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gibson, up you get!

Teirlynck shoots in and bounces Gibson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Teirlynck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Teirlynck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gibson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Teirlynck stays in close to Gibson's body and controls the position.

Teirlynck has momentary wrist control but Gibson slips an elbow through the middle.
Teirlynck is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cristobal Gibson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Teirlynck tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Teirlynck has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looked like Gibson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cristobal Gibson.
I think Gibson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
