Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Brandt (ranked 4033 p4p, 449 weight class) and Charly Viguier (ranked 4069 p4p, 451 weight class). Viguier has chosen Kebra as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brandt has managed to clinch.
Brandt gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Viguier.
Viguier is trying to pull guard but Brandt has him pressed against the cage.
Viguier has Brandt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brandt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Robbie Brandt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charly Viguier.

Brandt jumps into guard, dragging Viguier to the mat.
Brandt looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Viguier is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Viguier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Viguier pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brandt is keeping the position for now.
Brandt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Viguier on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brandt pulls Viguier in to control the position.
Viguier working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Viguier trying to control but Brandt is working from the bottom.
Brandt wants to sweep here but Viguier controlling him for the moment.
Viguier wants to pass the guard but Brandt is keeping the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Viguier stops Brandt from standing up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Brandt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Viguier.
Brandt looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Brandt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Viguier's guard.
Brandt prevents Viguier from getting back to his feet.

Viguier is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Brandt rolls with it to try and escape but Viguier cranks on the arm and Brandt is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
