Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adlan Aukhadov (ranked 23841 p4p, 711 weight class) and Brian Jensen (ranked 7442 p4p, 640 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aukhadov pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Aukhadov drives through and clinches with Jensen against the cage.
Aukhadov lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Aukhadov tries for a takedown but Jensen manages to get underhooks.

Aukhadov creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jensen's defenses.
Jensen takes an elbow to the temple.
Jensen is pressed up against the cage. Aukhadov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jensen down to the mat. Jensen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Aukhadov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Aukhadov pulls guard effortlessly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Aukhadov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jensen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Aukhadov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aukhadov has his foot on Jensen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jensen works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aukhadov looking for a sweep. Not yet Aukhadov, not yet.
Jensen is looking to stand up but Aukhadov won't let him.
Jensen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aukhadov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aukhadov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jensen stands up and waves to Aukhadov to follow him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aukhadov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And Jensen tries to counter it with a takedown but Aukhadov pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jensen batters Aukhadov with a massive right followed by a huge left! Aukhadov is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Jensen lands a final crushing right hand to drop Aukhadov to the mat with a gruesome thud! Jensen is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
