Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Walsh (ranked 8922 p4p, 625 weight class) and Yuri Ustinov (ranked 3445 p4p, 356 weight class). Ustinov has chosen ENERGIA! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuri Ustinov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh tries to clinch

and Ustinov counters with a single leg into guard. Walsh didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ustinov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ustinov in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Ustinov tries for a kimura but Walsh is defending well.
Walsh is pushing Ustinov's head away, looking to escape. Ustinov manages to hold on to the position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ustinov has an Americana. Walsh didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ustinov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ustinov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A less than humble Yuri Ustinov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
