Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Donavon (ranked 817 p4p, 132 weight class) and Darius Jurevicious (ranked 784 p4p, 124 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jurevicious's choice of entrance music: No Love- Death Grips. Darius Jurevicious has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurevicious takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jurevicious has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jurevicious there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chris Donavon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Donavon throws a jab but it's blocked by Jurevicious.
Jurevicious throws a shot from downtown. Donavon moves away and avoids it.
Donavon throws out a loose jab but Jurevicious uses good head movement to avoid it.
And Jurevicious tries to counter it with a takedown but Donavon pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Donavon lands a lovely overhand right.
Donavon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jurevicious.

and Jurevicious counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Donavon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Donavon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jurevicious.

Donavon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jurevicious throws a leg kick but Donavon sees it coming and moves out of range.

It looked like Donavon was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jurevicious.

Jurevicious tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Jurevicious uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Donavon.

Jurevicious wants to break free but Donavon has control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donavon tries to stand but Jurevicious is controlling from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jurevicious is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Donavon has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jurevicious misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Jurevicious is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Donavon is trying to escape and Jurevicious transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Donavon is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jurevicious! Very nice indeed!
