The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mista misses with a wild combination.
Denker changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Mista walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Denker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mista tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Denker is in Mista's guard.

Mista pushes Denker off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mista lets loose with a powerful body kick. Denker will feel that in the morning.

Mista gets caught napping as Denker dives in and scores a takedown. Mista manages to retain guard.

Denker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Denker drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mista manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Denker has Mista in his guard.

Denker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mista clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
