Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chief Bull (ranked 2893 p4p, 258 weight class) and Har Ambe (ranked 2404 p4p, 230 weight class). Ambe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rittz - For Real. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chief Bull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Har Ambe!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambe throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Bull counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bull throwing strikes but missing.
Bull throws a big elbow that misses.
Bull distracts Ambe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bull accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bull working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ambe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bull is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ambe working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bull.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ambe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bull lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bull works over Ambe with some ground and pound from guard.
Ambe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ambe keeping full guard, as Bull tries to pass.
Bull throws a strike but Ambe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ambe's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Bull has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ambe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ambe wants to control from the top but Bull keeps moving.
Ambe's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Bull has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ambe is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bull.
Ambe is looking to take a break and control but Bull is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bull is looking for a sweep.
Bull's coaches at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Ambe misses with the ground and pound.
Bull is looking to regain half guard here but Ambe keeps moving and retains side control.

Ambe has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island Safe Space. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Bull is bucking up trying to escape but Ambe cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ambe has hold of Bull's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bull manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ambe looking to control but Bull is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Ambe wants to finish this one by submission but Bull is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ambe.
Bull is looking to improve his position but Ambe isn't that keen on the idea.
Bull throwing punches from his back. He's mounted here but still fighting back.
Ambe scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bull?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ambe prevents Bull from getting the reversal.
Ambe landing strikes from the mount and Bull is in trouble!
Ambe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Har Ambe dominated that round.
That's time! Bull's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


A slow jab from Ambe misses its intended target.
Good standup being displayed there by Ambe as he connects with a hook.
Bull moves forwards but Ambe connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ambe throws an off balance right hand

and Bull counters with a takedown into side control.
Bull is chipping away with strikes.
Ambe is trying to improve his position.
Bull throws a strike aimed at the side of Ambe's head but Ambe avoids it well.
Bull working away.

Bull is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ambe has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ambe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bull working the ground and pound but Ambe is defending the strikes.

Bull is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ambe looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bull gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ambe is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bull lets go of the hold and Ambe can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chief Bull!
Chief Bull decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
