The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canoe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Canoe misses with a takedown attempt - Lopez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Canoe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lopez to score an easy takedown into full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Douche Canoe.
