PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akkan Kubilay (ranked 2876 p4p, 327 weight class) and Jack McAuliffe (ranked 4026 p4p, 439 weight class). McAuliffe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Napoleon of the Ring kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack McAuliffe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAuliffe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kubilay counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McAuliffe wants to get back to his feet but Kubilay drags him back down.
Kubilay trying to control the action but McAuliffe is working from the bottom.
Kubilay moves into full mount!
McAuliffe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kubilay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McAuliffe is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kubilay locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! McAuliffe is forced to tap!
