Lee has chosen Guess who’s back - Rakim as his entrance music. Bessandro Kennelly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kevin Lee!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to clinch there but Kennelly circles away.
Kennelly throws a nice looking combination but Lee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kennelly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Bessandro Kennelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kennelly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kennelly on his heels. He'll look to pass Kennelly's guard now, I'm sure.
Lee is standing up over Kennelly. Kennelly looks to escape but Lee dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lee is in close to Kennelly's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lee really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Kennelly.
Lee is not going to allow Kennelly to sit and survive in this position.
Kennelly is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Lee.
Kennelly is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
