Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shiba Inu (ranked 7452 p4p, 622 weight class) and Random Cole (ranked 3464 p4p, 401 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shiba Inu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Random Cole!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inu pushes Cole up against the cage in a clinch.
Cole tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Inu changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cole fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Shiba Inu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Inu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cole looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Inu is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cole is trying to escape and Inu transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cole is forced to tap! Nice work there by Inu! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Shiba Inu!
After the fight, Shiba Inu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
