Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 713 p4p, 112 weight class) and Three Dog (ranked 969 p4p, 147 weight class). Dog has chosen Fallout as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog scores with a kick to the midsection.
Dog has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Burgundy is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Burgundy swings widly with a right hand
and Dog counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dog connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Ron Burgundy has been cut.
Burgundy wants to clinch up but Dog keeps it at a distance.
Dog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Burgundy wants to stand and escape but instead Dog has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dog lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dog is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dog lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Three Dog is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Burgundy pushes Dog off and scrambles back to his feet.

Burgundy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dog. Dog circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burgundy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dog's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dog duly obliges.

Three Dog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
