The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoosier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fatu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hoosier connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hoosier misses with a head kick.
Hoosier throws a push kick but Fatu slaps the foot to one side.
Fatu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoosier's waist but Hoosier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fatu off to one side.
Hoosier scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fatu in his tracks.

It looks like Leati Fatu has been cut.

Fatu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fatu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fatu connects with a nice short shot to Hoosier's temple.

Hoosier is rocked!
Fatu lands a big elbow - Hoosier is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Fatu!
