Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Broseph Stalin (ranked 4112 p4p, 405 weight class) and Erick Darko (ranked 1897 p4p, 228 weight class). Darko has chosen S.C.O.S.A - Flatbush Zombies as his entrance music. Erick Darko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stalin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stalin staying out of range there.
Darko throws a series of punches but Stalin moves out of range.
Darko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Darko doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stalin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Darko looks to land a right hand but Stalin moved out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Stalin misses the target.
Stalin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Darko finds it's way round the side to connect with Stalin's head.
Darko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stalin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stalin tries to clinch there but Darko circles away.
Darko lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stalin backs up against the cage.
Stalin is looking to clinch but Darko is avoiding it.
Darko is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Stalin moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stalin lands a hook that snaps the head of Darko backwards.
Darko has Stalin pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Darko pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Stalin tumbling to the mat - Darko dives into Stalin's guard.
Darko won't allow Stalin to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stalin has his hands on Darko's head, controlling the position.
Darko tries to free his leg and advance position but Stalin is retaining full guard.
Darko throws a big right hand that misses.
Darko trying to control the position from guard on top but Stalin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Darko throws a strike but Stalin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Darko is controlling Stalin's posture.

Darko pulls Stalin in close to prevent any damage.
Darko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Darko has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stalin doesn't defend quickly enough and Darko has managed to lock this one up! Can Stalin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Darko on a fantastic submission victory.

In his post fight interview, Erick Darko started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
