Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Suayngarm Pumphanmuang!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pumphanmuang ducks right into an uppercut from Santiago.
Santiago throws a body punch but Pumphanmuang moves out of range.
Santiago lands a nice shot to the body.
Santiago lands a head shot.
Santiago connects with a crisp jab.
Pumphanmuang shoots for a double leg takedown but Santiago sprawls well. He's pushed Pumphanmuang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pumphanmuang takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pumphanmuang shoots in and bounces Santiago off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pumphanmuang gets to his feet - Santiago follows without any prompting.
Pumphanmuang scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Santiago lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Pumphanmuang takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Santiago connects with a nice looking jab.
Pumphanmuang looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Santiago!
Pumphanmuang working the ground and pound but Santiago is defending the strikes.

The referee asks Pumphanmuang politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pumphanmuang prefers to stall for the moment though.
Santiago tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Pumphanmuang easily slips into full mount!
Santiago wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Pumphanmuang controlling the position well here. Santiago rolled but Pumphanmuang kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Pumphanmuang working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Santiago is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Pumphanmuang has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Santiago taps out!
