Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Blackson (ranked 5700 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Evela (ranked 8827 p4p, 0 weight class). Evela has chosen Face The Pain as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Black Blackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Evela!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evela slips under a jab.
Blackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blackson checks the leg kick.
Blackson lands a nice looking body shot.

Evela drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Evela is staying tight to Blackson's torso, preventing him from escaping.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Evela is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Blackson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Blackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evela on the ground.

Evela is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Blackson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
An elbow from Evela crashes against the mat.

Evela decides to stand back up. Evela steps back and let's Blackson get back to his feet.
Blackson swings widly with a right hand

and Evela counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blackson won't be happy with that.

Evela happy to just control the position for now.
Evela scores with a couple of short elbows.

Evela is working to tighten his grip on Blackson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Blackson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Evela is really squeezing tight and eventually Blackson passes out! Evela breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Don Evela decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
