Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abraham circles away from the clinch attempt.
Abraham looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Abraham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gay sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abraham somewhat.
It looked like Gay was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Abraham forces Gay back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gay as Abraham tries to tie him up.

Abraham breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Gay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Abraham tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gay swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Abraham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gay pinned against the cage. Gay gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gay half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Marcos Gay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zuzel Abraham.

and Gay counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Abraham wants to stand up but Gay is controlling him.

Abraham pushes Gay off looking to stand but Gay dives back in and keeps control.
Gay will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Abraham tries to kick Gay off in order to stand up. Gay Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Abraham is looking for a sweep.

Gay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gay looks up at the clock and then as Abraham takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gay smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gay has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Abraham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Abraham with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Gay is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Abraham is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
