PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Matthew Hargreaves (ranked 21921 p4p, 715 weight class) and Damjan Hrvatin (ranked 6167 p4p, 568 weight class). Damjan Hrvatin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hargreaves tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hrvatin was well out of range. Poor timing from Hargreaves.

It looks like Damjan Hrvatin has been cut.
Hargreaves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hrvatin sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hrvatin closes the distance and clinches.
Hargreaves lands with a light punch inside.
Nice body punch from Hargreaves - that landed with a thud.
Hargreaves digs a right hand into Hrvatin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hrvatin's gas tank.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Hargreaves presses Hrvatin against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Hargreaves gets through Hrvatin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hargreaves cracks Hrvatin with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Hrvatin goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Hrvatin wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
