Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dai Zexi (ranked 1278 p4p, 192 weight class) and Krit Leekpai (ranked 1715 p4p, 254 weight class). Dai Zexi looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dai Zexi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krit Leekpai!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zexi misses with a straight right.
Zexi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Leekpai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leekpai wants it to stay on the feet.
Leekpai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zexi manages to avoid it.
Zexi feinted with a counter takedown.
Leekpai dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Leekpai stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circling - Leekpai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Zexi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leekpai throws out the jab.
Leekpai cracks the inside of Zexi's front leg.
Zexi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Leekpai can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zexi cracks Leekpai with a big right hand but Leekpai just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Zexi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Leekpai knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leekpai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Leekpai is looking to regain half guard here but Zexi keeps moving and retains side control.

Zexi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Leekpai has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Zexi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Leekpai is now in Zexi's guard. A big mistake from Zexi there, giving up the dominant position!
Leekpai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zexi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zexi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Leekpai wants to get back to full guard.
Leekpai is refusing to be controlled, as Zexi sits in half guard.

Zexi slips nicely into half guard.
Zexi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Leekpai sees it coming and defends easily.
Zexi wants to control but Leekpai is keeping him busy.
Leekpai is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zexi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zexi's back!
Zexi breaks Leekpai's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zexi won't allow Leekpai to sweep him here.
Leekpai wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Zexi pushes down on Leekpai's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dai Zexi dominated that round.
That's time! Zexi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Leekpai keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Leekpai scores with a hook to the body. Zexi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Zexi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leekpai can pounce on him.
Leekpai misses the jab.
Zexi goes for a double leg but Leekpai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Leekpai continues to drive forward.
Zexi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Leekpai struggling a bit here.
Zexi has hold of Leekpai's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Leekpai seems comfortable defending it but Zexi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Leekpai is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Leekpai is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zexi couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dai Zexi!
