The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villanueva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hop lands an overhand right.
It looks like Yamil Villanueva has been cut.
Hop cracks Villanueva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hop has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Villanueva to stand back up!
Villanueva is rocked!
Hop buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Villanueva is still on wobbly legs! Can Hop finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hop keeps the fight on the outside.
Hop lands an uppercut, right on the button! Villanueva tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
