The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schaub fails with the takedown
and Debaucher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Schaub shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Debaucher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A big left from Schaub misses.
Schaub shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Debaucher but Debaucher pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Schaub. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Schaub shoots in and bounces Debaucher off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Debaucher wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Schaub manages to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schaub seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Debaucher wants to control but Schaub is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Debaucher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schaub. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Schaub wants to lay and pray for a moment but Debaucher keeps working.

Schaub seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Debaucher is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
