Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luc Gagnon (ranked 244 p4p, 25 weight class) and Floyd Maybetter (ranked 388 p4p, 42 weight class). Gagnon comes to the cage accompanied by Annihilator - King of the Kill. Maybetter has chosen Don't Stop The Funk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Floyd Maybetter looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gagnon throws a body shot but no joy.
Gagnon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gagnon appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Gagnon throws a hook to the side of Maybetter's head but Maybetter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Maybetter's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Maybetter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gagnon is looking to wear down Maybetter with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The crowd cheers as Gagnon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maybetter doesn't seem phased though.

Gagnon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gagnon is trying to move to mount but Maybetter reverses beautifully and ends up in Gagnon's guard.
Maybetter is fighting to break Gagnon's control of his arms but Gagnon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gagnon looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Maybetter is defending well. Gagnon quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Maybetter has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gagnon celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
