Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bente Log (ranked 5533 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tayla Leech (ranked 2534 p4p, 0 weight class). Tayla Leech has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bente Log!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tayla Leech!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leech throws a hook but Log avoids it easily.
Log shoots in looking for a takedown but Leech manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Log's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Log.
Leech throws a body punch but Log moves out of range.
Log fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leech manages to avoid it.
Leech dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Leech fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Log looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Log decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Leech is looking to control Log's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Leech avoid being mounted?
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Log connects with a nice short shot to Leech's temple.

Log prevents Leech from improving his position.
Log is thwarting Leech's attempts to control the position.
Leech is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Log definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Still in half guard, Log seems content to control.
Log thows a huge punch but Leech dodges it nicely.
Log keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Leech is in trouble now - Log has advanced to mount!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Leech tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Log raining down hammerfists from mount.
Log lands a big elbow.
Log tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Leech tries to hold on but Log pushes him away.
Leech really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Log. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Log trying to control but Leech is having none of it.
Log landing strikes from the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Log controlling the position easily from mount.

Log is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Leech has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Log has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Log putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Log pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Log looking to control and managing it successfully.
Leech is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Log with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Leech throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Log.
Leech has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Leech throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Log tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Leech manages to circle out of the way.
Bente Log is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Log tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leech manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Log swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Log takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Leech lands a nice hook to Log's body. Log takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Log doesn't manage to clinch there - Leech circles away.
Log tries to clinch there but Leech circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Log drives through with a takedown into Leech's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Log throws a big elbow that misses.
Leech wants to stand and escape but Log is having none of it.

and Leech holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Log tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Leech just stands there and leans against the cage.

Leech scores with a shot to the side of Log's head.

Log is trying to pull guard but Leech turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bente Log. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Log fails to pull guard.
Log is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Leech pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Leech throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Logs head.
Log is trying to pull guard but Leech turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Leech lands a shoulder strike.

Log successfully pulls guard.
Leech slips nicely into half guard.
Log regains full guard. Nicely done.

Leech stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Log swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Log is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Leech has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Log to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Leech is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Log pulls down on the head and he's put Leech to sleep! This one is all over!
