The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ice Cold tries to clinch up but Manning circles away and keeps his distance.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ice Cold.
Ice Cold darts in and clinches Manning up against the cage.
Manning could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ice Cold closes the distance but Manning moves to the side
and Manning counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manning displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ice Cold.

and Manning counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ice Cold's knee momentarily.

and Manning counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Manning lands with a nice body punch.
Ice Cold gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Manning counters with a three punch combo that has Ice Cold backing up. Ice Cold nods at Manning to acknowledge the strikes.
Ice Cold doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Manning counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ice Cold gets caught flat footed, as Manning shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ice Cold wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Manning manages to pass to side control.
Manning prevents Ice Cold from improving his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ice Cold tries to lock up and control but Manning gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Manning lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Manning manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ice Cold keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Manning swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Manning stalling in the clinch but Ice Cold improves position.
Ice Cold manages to break the clinch.
Ice Cold has taken the fight to the clinch.

Manning escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ice Cold has his takedown stuffed
and Manning counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ice Cold's knee momentarily.
Manning is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ice Cold can do to turn this around?
Manning feints and then cracks Ice Cold's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ice Cold down.
Ice Cold moves into the clinch.
Manning lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manning is trying to break free.
Ice Cold lands with a left to the head.
It looks like Jules Manning has been cut.
Ice Cold pulls guard.
Ice Cold has momentary wrist control but Manning slips an elbow through the middle.

Ice Cold wants to stand but Manning is controlling the position.
Ice Cold not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ice Cold trying to strike off his back.
Ice Cold looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Manning passes into side control.
Manning working away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ice Cold gets back to half guard.
Ice Cold moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ice Cold has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Manning should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ice Cold has tightened it up now! Manning should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Igor Ice Cold decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
