Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Aristides Leopoldo (ranked 8552 p4p, 223 weight class) and Tyler Antonew (ranked 17817 p4p, 173 weight class). Leopoldo comes to the cage accompanied by Carmina Burana - Carl Orff. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pedro Aristides Leopoldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Antonew!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antonew tries to clinch up but Leopoldo circles away and keeps his distance.
Leopoldo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
No joy there for Leopoldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Leopoldo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Antonew stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Leopoldo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Antonew moves away.
Leopoldo shoots in and gets a takedown into Antonew's guard.
Leopoldo throws a big right hand that misses.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leopoldo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leopoldo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Antonew's head.

Leopoldo is looking to work some ground and pound but Antonew has wrist control.

Leopoldo throws a strike but Antonew rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Antonew looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leopoldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Antonew lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Leopoldo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Antonew pulls his head out easily.

Antonew looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leopoldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Antonew connects with a nice short shot to Leopoldo's temple.

Antonew is trapped and Leopoldo is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Leopoldo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Antonew is defending well though. Leopoldo let's go of the attempt for now.
Antonew is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Leopoldo off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leopoldo knocks out Antonew with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Leopoldo before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Leopoldo picks up the big W with a huge KO!
