The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woods tries to keep at a distance but Alban has taken the fight into the clinch.

Alban digs a right hand underneath Woods's ribcage. Woods let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Woods breaks from the clinch.
Alban bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Woods's head backwards.

Woods seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Alban throws out a loose jab but Woods uses good head movement to avoid it.
Woods drops down looking for a counter takedown but Alban sprawls and moves away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alban, as that shot connected.

The fighters circling - Alban throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alban stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Woods gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Woods keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Alban throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Woods takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Alban throws a hook but Woods avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Alban lands an impressive looking overhand right. Woods doesn't seem phased though.

Woods has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Alban finds it's way round the side to connect with Woods's head.
Jeffrey Alban seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alban fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Woods manages to avoid it.
Alban tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Woods was well out of range. Poor timing from Alban.
The fight stays on the outside here - Woods looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Woods shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Alban just misses with a elbow thrown towards Woods's brow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
