Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Booningham (ranked 8023 p4p, 734 weight class) and Mike Kyle (ranked 5075 p4p, 598 weight class). Kyle has chosen Barbie Girl as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle shoots in but no luck this time.
Kyle dives in for a single leg takedown but Booningham sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Daniel Booningham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Kyle.
Kyle gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Booningham.
Booningham misses with a few strikes there.
Kyle is trying to counter with his kicks.
Booningham lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kyle at a distance.

Mike Kyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Booningham drops Kyle with a beautiful combination! Kyle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Booningham is looking for the KO!

Kyle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Booningham napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Booningham tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Booningham squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Kyle looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Booningham has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Booningham is trying to get back to his feet but Kyle has full control of the position and if anything, Booningham has just worked his way into a worse spot.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Kyle has Booningham flattened out and is raining down punches.
Booningham is trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Booningham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kyle on the ground.

Kyle has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Booningham is defending well but eventually Kyle manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Booningham has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
