The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pettis sneaks out the side door and pushes Jorgensen away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Jorgensen closes the distance and clinches up with Pettis, looking for a takedown. Jorgensen pushes Pettis against the cage but Pettis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Pettis remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Jorgensen scores with a big shot! Pettis's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Pettis! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
