Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Slaughter (ranked 398 p4p, 43 weight class) and Dante Fiaschi (ranked 1501 p4p, 180 weight class). Slaughter comes to the cage accompanied by Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter - Iron Maiden. Fiaschi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Dante Fiaschi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dante Fiaschi!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter throws a body punch but Fiaschi moves out of range.
Slaughter takes one on the button.
Fiaschi stuns Slaughter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fiaschi closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Slaughter tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Fiaschi counters with a straight right hand.
Fiaschi scores with a decent looking hook.

Slaughter has managed to clinch.
Fiaschi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Slaughter to keep the fight standing.
Slaughter pushes Fiaschi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A head punch on the inside from Slaughter fails to land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fiaschi has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Slaughter seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Fiaschi can turn it around.

Slaughter tries to throw a body punch but Fiaschi avoids it by throwing Slaughter back against the cage.

Fiaschi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Slaughter is aware though and is defending well.
Slaughter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Slaughter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fiaschi on the ground.

Slaughter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Slaughter wants to free his trapped foot but Fiaschi is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Slaughter throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Fiaschi to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice straight punches there by Slaughter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Slaughter.
Fiaschi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slaughter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fiaschi scrambles back to his feet.


Fiaschi is rocked!
Slaughter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fiaschi throws out the jab.
Fiaschi is still on wobbly legs! Can Slaughter finish him?
Fiaschi leaves his chin hanging out and Slaughter seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Fiaschi crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Max Slaughter!
Max Slaughter retains his middleweight title!
An out of breath Max Slaughter thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
