The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle gets a takedown into half guard.
Kyle is thwarting Franks's attempts to control the position.
Kyle decides to stand and escape the position.

Kyle wants to take a breather but Franks is having none of it.

Kyle lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Franks rushes Kyle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kyle manages to break the clinch.
Franks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Franks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ted Franks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Franks wants to stay close but Kyle steps back to make room for something. Franks seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Kyle and Franks drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
