Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Murphy Brown (ranked 1516 p4p, 185 weight class) and Gennady Golovkin (ranked 2004 p4p, 242 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Brown has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Golovkin blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Brown effectively controlling the action here.
Brown tries to break free but Golovkin pushes him back against the cage.

Brown tries to throw a body punch but Golovkin avoids it by throwing Brown back against the cage.

Golovkin manages to break the clinch.
Golovkin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Golovkin lands with an uppercut that bounces Brown off the cage and back into range.
Golovkin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brown at a distance.
Golovkin swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Golovkin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Brown throws a series of punches but Golovkin avoids them all with ease.

and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brown walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brown bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Golovkin's head backwards.

Brown misses with a two punch combination.
Golovkin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces Golovkin off the cage and back into range.
Brown moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Gennady Golovkin has been cut.
Golovkin throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Golovkin scores with a punch to the head.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Golovkin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Golovkin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brown doesn't seem bothered though.
Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Murphy Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown misses with a double jab.

Golovkin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Golovkin lands a jab to Brown's midsection.
Brown misses with a series of wild punches.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Golovkin misses with a body shot.
Golovkin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Golovkin throws out a counter right but Brown avoids it with no problem.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Golovkin.
Golovkin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Brown.
Golovkin lands an overhand right.

Brown is rocked!
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Golovkin lands with a big right hook that stumbles Brown - he's out on his feet here! Golovkin follows up with another monster hook that separates Brown from consciousness! Brown falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Golovkin stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
