The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koulibaly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Koulibaly misses with a two punch combination.
Mcpherson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Koulibaly connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A left and a right from Koulibaly both land. Nice combination.
Koulibaly darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Koulibaly. Mcpherson does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koulibaly cracks Mcpherson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Koulibaly lands a slapping body shot.

Mcpherson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Koulibaly gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mcpherson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
