The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammarstrom throws a lazy head kick
and Bobkins counters with a three punch combo that has Hammarstrom backing up. Hammarstrom nods at Bobkins to acknowledge the strikes.

Hammarstrom has closed the distance and engaged Bobkins in a clinch.
Hammarstrom is trying to push Bobkins away but Bobkins has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hammarstrom fails to pull guard.
Bobkins throws a punch but it's blocked by Hammarstrom.
Hammarstrom is looking to take this one to the mat.
Hammarstrom blocks a body shot from Bobkins.

Hammarstrom is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bobkins is defending well.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hammarstrom drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bobkins pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hammarstrom throws out a loose jab but Bobkins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hammarstrom shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bobkins sprawls well. Bobkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hammarstrom gets slowly back to his feet.

Bobkins lands a big right hand that sends Hammarstrom crashing to the mat! Bobkins stays standing though and waves Hammarstrom back to his feet!

Bobkins drops Hammarstrom with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hammarstrom! Bobkins dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
