Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emil Derrick (ranked 5212 p4p, 617 weight class) and Mick Dunlop (ranked 4098 p4p, 532 weight class). Emil Derrick looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emil Derrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mick Dunlop!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Derrick.
Dunlop scores with the left hand. Derrick knows he should have avoided that one.
Derrick throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dunlop.
Derrick avoids the head kick by Dunlop.
Derrick works Dunlop's body with a nice hook.
A slapping body kick lands there for Dunlop.
Dunlop tries a head kick but it misses.
Dunlop has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Derrick gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dunlop cracks Derrick with a nice body shot.
A hook to the body from Dunlop.
Derrick is breathing heavily.
Derrick blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dunlop works on Derrick's body with a couple of short punches.
Dunlop manages to break the clinch.
Nice uppercut there from Dunlop.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dunlop lands with an uppercut that bounces Derrick off the cage and back into range.
Dunlop scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Derrick takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dunlop connects with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunlop throws a sloppy head kick and Derrick moves out of range easily.
Derrick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dunlop paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Good shot there by Dunlop.
Derrick is rocked!
Dunlop wobbles Derrick with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Dunlop dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Derrick to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mick Dunlop!
During a confident post fight interview, Mick Dunlop thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
